Prior Experience

My career has included a variety of work in the civil and criminal jurisdictions in the Court of Session, High Court and Sheriff Court over rather too many years to mention. Junior practice was almost all civil until I became an Advocate Depute. Since taking silk I have done mainly criminal law including the Lockerbie Trial with the occasional case in the Court of Session mainly in judicial review.
